Joining the ranks of Madonna, Beyonce and Jesus, Lindsay Lohan is planning to drop "Lohan" from her name and just go by Lindsay, reports Popeater. Apparently, the actress had been planning to shorten her name for some time, but wasn't sure people would still know who she was, what with Lindsay not being quite as recognizable as, say, Prince.

But, reports Popeater:

It was only after the infamous Super Bowl E-trade advertisement referring to a baby as "that milkaholic Lindsay," that the actress knew she no longer needed [her last name].

Lindsay won't be alone in the shift -- Lindsay's mom, Dina, and sister, Ali, will change their last names back to Dinah's maiden name, Sullivan. A family friend told Popeater that:
