Jim Carrey's Prescriptions Found Near Body Of His Ex-Girlfriend
Cathriona White, the ex-girlfriend of actor Jim Carrey, was found dead with three bottles for prescriptions prescribed to Carrey under an alias.Sources close to the investigation told TMZ that next to the bed that White's body was found on, Monday night, were bottles for the drugs Ambien, Percocet, and Propranolol (a blood pressure medication). The drugs were prescribed to Carrey under an alias, which is not an unusual practice among celebrities due to privacy concerns. A source also told TMZ that the drugs were taken by White from Carrey's house, but that has not been confirmed.
Police say they believe White died of an overdose, but are awaiting the results of a toxicology report to determine specifically what she died from.
White and Carrey reportedly broke up on September 24, though Carrey apparently only wanted to take a break, and the makeup artist left a suicide note addressed to the actor.
