Hugging Trees

Spring sprung in April, with LAist chewing on ideas about LA River Restoration. It seems Treehugger.com, one of our favorite enviro-blogs, has been thinking about river restoration as well, with an interesting post today on "Guiding Principles for River Restoration" and applications to green product design--the idea is that smart design principles are cross-cutting, and apply as much to rivers as to cell phones.Aside: Treehugger is also great for if you're looking for consumer solutions to earth day "green guilt"--with fun reviews of hip and lovely sustainably designed and manufactured products. We confess to having picked up their product recommendations everywhere from plastica (now in WeHo) to our local Trader Joes.
