The Hollywood writers strike, after months of dueling rhetoric and negotiation, appears to be coming to an end after a tentative agreement was reached Sunday.

WGA reaches labor deal

Struggle spread to a legion of Angelenos both within and outside Hollywood, whose work suddenly stopped. Prized possessions were sold, side gigs were taken and more debt had to be absorbed in order for many workers to keep their heads above water financially.
