Apparently today is teachers (allegedly) harassing students day. After news broke that an educator in Inglewood called a student "nappy-headed," word is now out that on the other side of town, a Malibu instructor slapped a girl across the face for not bringing the right materials to class.

TMZ reports that 9th grader Dionne Evans showed up to Malibu High School on May 22nd sans notebook. When her teacher realized it, she made Evans stand in front of the class, asked her if she had seen the movie "Bridesmaids," and then proceeded to slap her six times.

TMZ posits that the question was based on a scene in which Melissa McCarthy's character slaps the shit out of Kristen Wiig's character in an attempt to get her to reclaim her life.

The teacher has issued a written apology, but Evans' family is lawyering up, and the L.A. Sheriff's Dept. is looking into the incident.
