Anyone out there who lives with a fear of getting their teeth cleaned is encouraged to cease reading this right here and now, because this will do nothing but ensure that you never visit the dentist again.

A man in Moorpark is being accused of practicing dentistry out of his apartment without a license, reports the LA Times. William Escobar, 40, allegedly set up his bathroom to look like a dentist's office, complete with all the mouth-cleaning tools, a chair and fake teeth. He even treated teens for orthodontics.

Escobar's gig was up when a patient went to the cops because Escobar was threatening him over not receiving payment on a bill. According to the Times:

Escobar had cleaned the man's teeth, injected him with an anesthetic and examined him for extraction of a tooth, officials said. The patient could not afford to have the tooth pulled. He "suffered swelling and pain at the injection site."
