Four People Shot in Car in Northridge

One person is dead and three are wounded after a car-to-car shooting in Northridge last night, reports City News Service.
The incident happened at the intersection of Balboa Boulevard and Parthenia Street just after midnight. Two women and one man were in a Lexus that pulled over on the side of Balboa, at which point -- according to KTLA -- another car drove up and opened fire.
In addition to hitting each person in the car -- one man fatally in the chest -- a bullet flew through the window of a nearby residence and into the homeowner's kitchen.
Police haven't released the names of the victims, and aren't sure if the shooting is gang-related.
