You made it through Hump Day, and freedom from the 9-5 is on the horizon. Here are the edible events happening this weekend.

Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival : The annual Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival will take over at the Ports O' Call Village in San Pedro this weekend. The three-day event will star fresh whole Maine lobster with all the trimmings, and bibs to match, of course. There'll be live entertainment, including tunes from Great Northern and the Dum Dum Girls. lobsterfest.com

Wally's Annual Tent Sale: With up to 80% off some of the wherehouse's extensive collection and free nibbles of cheese from monger Ryan Seeley, this is an event that eonophiles won't want to miss. Wally's Wine

Temecula Valley Crush: If you're down for a wander this weekend, an hour and half South to Temecula for their harvest celebration. There will be wine tastings from over 30 different local wineries, gourmet fare, and a discussion panel lead by yours truly with some of the Valley's greatest winemakers for VIP ticket holders.
