Video: International Christmas Dinners Around L.A.
One of the best parts about living in the wonderful melting pot that is L.A. is that you really can travel without setting foot on a cramped airplane—or on Santa's sleigh for that matter. We took a quick spin around the globe though the lens of a few local restaurants on the KTLA Morning News, showing them unique eats you'd find on German, Italian, and Lebanese-Armenian holiday tables.
And you'd better believe the food was fresh. So fresh, in fact, that the lobster that adorned Drago Centro's festa dei sette pesci spread was still moving. That didn't stop anchor Chris Schauble from getting into the oysters though. The guy threw back all four of them before we could get a bite. Goes to show you it's never too early for shooters—oyster shooters, that is.
