With their Hollywood location open since late September, The Veggie Grill is hoping to bring in fresh and hungry diners to surrender their "virginity." Okay, before you get the wrong idea, to explain: The Veggie Grill's "Virgin Night" is when someone who has dined there before brings someone who has never eaten there before in for the first time--and the newbie will get their entree on the house. The restaurant boasts an extensive menu based on comfort food classics, and all just happen to be plant-based. On the menu are items like the Santa Fe Crispy Chickin, All Hail Kale, and the All-American Stack. If you're the Veggie Grill veteran, don't forget to pick out some sides, like their "must-try" sweet potato fries LAist's resident veggie and sweet potato fry expert hails as offering a nice balance of "the freshness of the vegetable with crispy and salty delectableness."
