Warning: Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Brew Bottles Might Explode
Trader Joe's is recalling a ginger beer because apparently, the bottles just might explode! The soda in question is Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Brew (SKU 51857), and the bottles were sold at TJ locations across the United States from November 9 to December 14. While the soda itself is safe, unopened bottles have been reported to shatter or burst, KTLA reports.
So far, no one has reported any injuries, and Trader Joe's has taken the bottles off the shelves. But if you've got some you've been saving for a home-made Moscow Mule or a refreshing treat, the store advises you "please handle it with extreme care and dispose of it immediately in an outside container." Trader Joe's will offer a refund for any purchase of the soda.
