'Good Food' To Say G'Day to Australian Cuisine at Live Event

KCRW and Tourism Australia are paired up for the second consecutive year to bring live events to L.A. focused on life Down Under. The eats of Australia will be in the spotlight on Sunday January 17th with "Good Food Live!" hosted by Evan Kleiman. Attendees will join Kleiman and her guests, Aussie chef Curtis Stone, fish expert Peter Evans, mixologist Gus McShane (of Santa Monica's Copa d'Oro) and wine aficionado James Gosper, for an afternoon honoring the food and drink of Australia.
There will be a live cooking demo, and following, everyone can partake in the reception featuring a hosted beer, wine and special cocktail reception, along with light bites. Tickets are on sale starting today, and are $30 per person...but space is limited!
In the meantime, enjoy today's LA Times profile of Kleiman, whose Angeli Caffe celebrates 25 years this month, and our adventures in the kitchen with Kleiman as she baked up a storm for her pie-a-day project.
