Sweet Eats: BLD Opening New Doughnut, Ice Cream, And Coffee Concept
The sleuths over at Grub Street figured out that Mariah Swan, who was one of the panelists at this past weekend's "The Girls Are Baking"event, is launching a new project featuring some of our favorite things: coffee, doughnuts, and ice cream.
Swan is the genius behind BLD's bangin' doughnuts and boozy milkshakes, so we can't wait to see what she and Neal Fraser have in store. Some of her creative offerings at BLD's annual donut festival have included salt and pepper doughnuts, pictured above, blueberry ricotta with maple syrup, BBQ pulled pork and a banana cream pie.
The project, which is tentatively titled ICDC, is expected to open in 2013.
