The Most Instagrammed Restaurants In The U.S. Include 3 L.A. Spots

While Dodger Stadium may be the most Instagrammed place in Los Angeles this year, it wouldn't be right to not give a nod to the most Instagrammed restaurants, too. After all, we spend hours posting onto social media snapshots of perfectly angled, mouthwatering food, while at the same time annoying our friends and family who just want to start eating. This year, three of our restaurants made the top 10 list of the most Instagrammed eateries in the country, and we're pretty proud. We write this as we're patting our bellies.
Instagram determined this list through geotagging, according to Food + Wine. Café Du Monde in New Orleans with their glorious beignets covered in powdered sugar topped the list. Some other usual suspects also made the ranks like New York City's Dominique Ansel Bakery—the genius behind the original Cronut—and Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland, Ore.
But for L.A., our city had the only top contenders for all of California, with San Pedro Fish Market coming in at number five. It's an idyllic waterfront market/restaurant in the Ports O'Call Village, where you can while the day away watching cargo and cruise ships pass by while a mariachi band sometimes plays, and where you can go to the fish market and pick out fresh seafood and have it cooked right then and there.
Perch ranked at number eight on the list, and we can see why, since this rooftop bar and restaurant has a gorgeous view of the breathtaking downtown L.A. skyline.
And rounding out the top 10 list was California Donuts in Koreatown, which has some adorable (and tasty!) donuts, perfect for scoring hearts on Instagram:
