LudoBites TEN: One More L.A. Pop-Up For the Fans

While soon Angelenos will be able to find Chef Ludo Lefebvre at a permanent location, there's still room for one more L.A. pop-up, and that means a tenth installation of LudoBites in December.

LudoBites TEN will feature the innovative cuisine of Lefebvre in a familiar place, as the pop-up returns to Downtown's Gram & Papa's for weeknight dinners December 4 through the 21.

Lefebvre's wife Krissy, who serves as the ultimate front of house wrangler for the pop-ups here and around the country, explained a bit more about the significance of this tenth L.A. pop-up:

"This is really a celebration of what LudoBites has meant to us and acknowledging our fans by bringing back some of the favorites from the past (minus foie gras of course). I look at it as the stories and recipes of LudoBites created the cookbook and now the cookbook is inspiring one more run with great memories hitting the plate."

In fact, the interaction factor will be upped this time around; keep your eyes out for chances for guests to help shape the menu through social media.

And as an even nicer holiday-time bonus, LudoBites TEN will be supporting the Cart for Cause EAT GOOD | DO GOOD program, by donating a $1 for each of two different dishes sold through the run.

Reservations will be available by lottery through UrbanSpoon; the lottery starts November 28 at 11 a.m. local time.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive before year-end will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
