We need to hear from you.
Today during our spring member drive, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

Cool weather, beer, wine, public transportation and best of all tons of grilled cheeses! That's what's going down tomorrow afternoon at the Cornfields, better known these days as Los Angeles State Historic Park just off the Gold Line Chinatown stop.

So here's the deal. Everyone who is competing with their grilled cheese recipe is already signed up and ready to go. The rest of y'all can either judge (it's first come, first serve for 1700 folks) or you can "just immerse yourself in the cheeseness," as organizers say. Entry price is a whopping five dollar bill.

All the info you need is over at the 7th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational's website. And hey, if you miss it, don't forget, there's still about a week left of National Grilled Cheese Month.
