First Annual LA Taco Festival, 6/26 @ Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights

So many tacos, so little time!Those of you planning to attendCasa Vega's 55th anniversary on June 28 can prep your appetite this Sunday, June 26 at the first annual LA Taco Festival in Boyle Heights.
According to a statement released by the office of Councilmember Jose Huizar, the festival will offer up any kind of taco your little heart desires, from birria to carne asada to shrimp, as well as live Mariachi music, arts and crafts, and clowns (for the brave).
The event will be held at Mariachi Plaza -- the intersection of First St. and Boyle Ave. -- from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m., and proceeds will go to a good cause: Jovenes, Inc. (Youth, Inc.), a nonprofit organization that works with homeless and displaced youth in Boyle Heights and East LA.
