Eye Nosh: Everyday is Like Fry-Day!
Are we all over our New Year's resolutions to cut out fatty fried foods yet? Because if you're in the mood to Cherchez Les Frites in Los Angeles, it's time to spill the beans potatoes on where you like to go.
Talking French Fries is old hat to some foodies, but still worth talking about nonetheless. In fact, it's an ever-evolving topic when new places hop in the deep fry. The January 2009 issue of Los Angeles names their picks for their five new fry-faves (Church & State, 8 Oz., Marty D's, STK, and The Waffle). Sometimes, though, the hunt is for a fry variant, i.e. Sweet Potato fries, or Poutine (a French-Canadian dish of fries smothered in cheese and gravy).
These fries are from Langer's Deli--definitely not a new choice, but a tempting one nonetheless--as captured recently by noobphotog and submitted to our LAist Featured Photos pool on Flickr. Look good? If yes, proceed to Langer's and order 'em up. If no, tell us where you think the best fries in LA are found (then go, take a picture, and drop it in our pool tagged with "eye nosh").
