Family Domestic at Long Beach City Hall
Police were called to the 14th floor of Long Beach's city hall last week when what appears to be a verbal incident occurred between a couple and a staff member, according to the Long Beach Press-Telegram. Both in the midst of filing for divorce, Councilwoman Suja Lowenthal and her husband, Superior Court Judge Daniel Lowenthal, got into an argument and a council staff person was reportedly involved. And if the family matters could not get anymore entangled, Judge Lowenthal was only visiting City Hall to visit his mother, Councilwoman and Vice Mayor Bonnie Lowenthal.
