Whoops: Lindsay Lohan Didn't Pay $94K In Income Taxes
Seriously, can Lindsay Lohan keep out of the reach of the long arm of the law for just ten minutes, even? Today the actress, known more recently for her starring role as "the defendant" in a series of court appearances, has had a lien put on her house in Encino, according to Defamer, because LiLo didn't pay her 2009 income taxes. Whoopsies!
The back taxes tally up to $94,000 (in Lohan's universe that's a couple of pilfered necklaces, a few mounds of coke, and a few nights of intense bottle service at a Vegas club). Lohan reportedly thought the whole taxes thingamajiggy was being handled by her accountants, but, whaddaya know, it wasn't.
Defarmer has some advice for Lohan:
Good thing she has that $1 million from Playboy to pay her tax bill. Just remember to pay taxes on that, LiLo. We're sure this is the last influx of cash she's going to have for awhile. It's not like anyone actually wants to, you know, hire her to act.
