While You Were Busy Hating Lindsay Lohan, James Deen Decided to Like Her

James Deen would like you to know that he, for one, is stoked to be working with Lindsay Lohan.

The porn star told E! News that regardless of what the tabloids say about the actress, he thinks she's totally talented and is looking forward to sharing the screen with her in Bret Easton Ellis' upcoming movie, "The Canyons."

"The only negative thing I've ever heard about her is in the press," Deen told E! News. "Honestly, everyone I know who's actually worked with her has nothing but nice things to say."

The movie is reportedly about a group of 20-somethings trying to make it in Hollywood, living in the Hills and fucking like rabbits.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
