So maybe our Lakers fans don't have the best rep, and if you don't root for the home team you might get beaten within an inch of your life, the City of Angels is still #1 when it comes to sports. Los Angeles has recently been ranked the Ultimate Sports City by The Ultimate Sports List (TUSL) site, for having hosted the 34 out of a list of 150 global sporting events.

Among the high-profile events that L.A. has played host to include the Summer Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup Final, The Super Bowl, The Rose Bowl, the PGA Championship, and the NBA Finals. Trailing behind us in the top five U.S. cities are Boston, New York, Chicago and Dallas.
