TV Junkie: 62nd Annual Primetime Emmys Gallery

This story is free to read because readers choose to support LAist. If you find value in independent local reporting, make a donation to power our newsroom today.

Here is a subset of my photos from the red carpet and press room of the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held on August 29, 2010 at Nokia Live in downtown Los Angeles. Shot most of these one-handed since I was also holding a video camera forthe red carpet interviews we posted yesterday. The press room pics were a little tougher since I was about 40 feet from the stage and had to shoot without flash or monopod, but we still caught some good moments.

Pics include: Christina Hendricks, Nelsan Ellis, George Clooney, Dr. Jack Kevorkian, and many others (lot's of HBO people, including "True Blood" cast). To see the complete set go to my 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards gallery.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
