Watch: Tom Hanks Drops An F-Bomb On Live TV
Oops! The typically very family-friendly actor Tom Hanks went live TV this morning and dropped an f-bomb.
He was on "Good Morning America" to promote his upcoming film Cloud Atlas. Hanks was showing off his Russian accent—one of many accents he uses in the film—and the phrase "fuckin'" just sort of tumbles out of his mouth.
He covered his mouth and apologized profusely along with the uncomfortable-looking interviewer. ABC released a statement saying, "This morning Tom Hanks accidently used an expletive during a live interview on GMA with Elizabeth Vargas. They both immediately apologized on air, and the show was corrected for all subsequent feeds."
Hanks released his own statement:
For GMA, spesh kowtow for Lizzie V for WHAT DID I JUST SAY??? Oops! In character! Sorry! Hanx
