TiVo Alert: "Heroes" Marathon Today on the Sci-Fi Channel
Not to step on the toes of the beloved TV Junkie, but there will be a "Heroes" marathon today/tonight on the Sci-Fi Channel, as they show the first six episodes of the popular NBC show.
For those of us with DirecTV, the marathon begins at 3pm on channel 244; for the rest of youse with cable, the superhero lovin' begins at the more reasonable 6pm.
Claiming that if you "Save the Cheerleader" you will save the world, the beautifully produced drama is saving NBC which has failed miserably with most of its new offerings, even placing fourth last week with the censored Madonna concert -- when the network decided to ixnay the rucifixcay version of "Live To Tell", one of the few moments of the tour that people actually talked about.
The peacock desperately needs a hero, since no one truly thinks that Howie Mandel's "Deal or No Deal" has legs, although those models sure do. Yowza.
