Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Asked To Host Golden Globes Again

One year ago, Congress defunded public media. Now that we're 100% community funded, please become a sustaining member or increase your existing membership today.

Last year, we had the pleasure of reveling in the glory that is Tina Fey and Amy Poehler when they hosted the Golden Globes. Now, it looks like we might get to bask in all that wonderful female hilarity yet again—Deadline reports that the two have been approached to return and host again.

The website notes that a formal invitation hasn't been issued, in part because both ladies are so busy; Fey has just sold two comedy projects to NBC and Poehler is routinely busy with "Parks and Rec." But they've been informally approached, primarily to gauge their interest.

Deadline notes that the gig only requires a few weeks' commitment, unlike the Oscars, which requires several months of preparation.

Last year, Fey and Poehler killed it, not only at the ceremony but in the weeks leading up to it, with promos like this and this.

No word yet on whether the two ladies have made any sort of agreement.
