The Nicolas Cage Art Show Is A Real Thing
Academy Award winning actor Nicolas Cage will be the theme of an art show in July. That's an entire room full of original artwork inspired by one half of Face/Off. Artists are encouraged to submit their Cage-themed works from now until July 5. Then, these national treasures of pop culture will be on display on July 19 for one magical night only.
L.A. might love themed art shows—like the Cat Art Show or the Taxidermy Art Show— but this isn't the first Nicolas Cage show. Curator Ezra Croft held one in April in San Francisco.
The show is advertised with as much hyperbole as is found in Cage's acting, but it honestly seems like a pretty unique and fun, if not ridiculous, way to spend a Saturday.
Attendees can buy tickets to The Nicolas Cage Party at The Syrup Loft here. For artists' inspiration, here is a recent Instagram courtesy of Guns 'n Roses of Nicolas Cage wearing a Nicolas Cage shirt and hanging out with Andrew Dice Clay in Las Vegas.
