Stuffed: A Plush Food Show
Currently running at Munky King on Melrose is a really great exhibit called Stuffed: A Plush Food Show. The show features over 30 different artists creating amazingly fun and cute stuffed foods of all kinds.
There are three sections to the show. First there's "The Feast", which features a giant plush turkey as the centerpiece, surrounded by other foods like sushi and pizza. Then there's the "Dessert Cart", filled with mouth-watering cakes and pies made of felts and fabrics. The last section is the "Grocery Store", which is stocked with fruits, veggies, and even fortune cookies.
One of my favorites from the show is the Frankensteak above which was created by I Heart Guts. I was able to see more of their work at Felt Club earlier this year, and their stuff is really great.
The show ends on December 2nd, so be sure to check it out before it ends. If you can't make it, you can at least check out some of the yummy creations by clicking here.
