"Stephanie Tanner" Gets Into a Car Wreck, Sues The Other Guy For $25K
Jodie Sweetin, best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on "Full House," got into a car wreck last year and now she's hoping to recoup her damages in court.Sweetin is suing the other guy in the wreck Clark Taylor Stavros. She claims in a lawsuit that he wrecked her car and that the accident caused her health problems ranging from a sore neck to a fractured wrist, according to TMZ. She is asking for $25,000 in damages from the wreck that happened in Los Angeles in March 2011.
Sweetin claims in the court documents that the wreck hurt her earning capacity. But lately, she's been better known for her struggles with meth, coke and ecstasy than acting. But hopefully, she's doing better, because we're rooting for child stars.
Sidenote: while we're talking about "Full House," child stars and referencing Kirk Cameron, let's talk about how we didn't realize until just now that Sweetin's co-star Candace Cameron and Kirk Cameron are siblings. We found out from her faith-based weight-loss blog.
