Signing Sunshine
The shooting script for Little Miss Sunshine has been bound into a book. Go figure. We've never really understood the need to make a book of a script and then have that book of the script signed as if it's, you know, a book. However. We do feel that in this case there are some particularly LA-esque reasons to attend the Book Soup signing today at 5pm:
A) If the delicious dysfunction of Little Miss Sunshine reminded you of your own family and you want to revisit the exquisite pain
B) If you're properly sorted and have no family dysfunction whatsoever (which we don't believe), but happen to be an aspiring screenwriter (which, in this town, we do believe)
C) If you are both a screenwriter and your family is dysfunctional (this seems a shoo-in event for you, no?) perhaps having Michael Arndt sign your book of a script will in some way alleviate the pain
If you are lucky enough to be none of the above it will still be a good time. Check it out.
