We knew that Shia LaBeouf was sick of big-budget studio movies, but we didn't know that it would quite come to this.

LaBeouf signed on for a role in the new Lars von Trier movie Nymphomaniac, which will explore the sexual development of a woman played by Charlotte Gainsbourg. LaBeouf revealed that all the on-screen sex will be unsimulated in an interview with MTV.

LaBeouf told MTV, "There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing it for real. And anything that is 'illegal' will be shot in blurred images. But other than that, everything is happening."

Willem Dafoe, Stellan Skarsgård and Nicole Kidman have also been linked with the project.

We don't know any details beyond that, including what it is that might be illegal (our best guess is it has to do with a depiction of underage sex). We also don't know how his girlfriend of 2 years feels about it, but The Daily Mail was happy to jump to conclusions after a photog caught a spat between the couple.

This won't be the first time Shia LaBuffBeouf has gone au naturel for a film. Recently, he stripped down for a Sigur Rós music video.
