Have you always dreamed of running your own kitschy beachside motel, like a character in a Gilmore Girls-slash-Californication crossover episode? Well, dreams can come true, especially if you happen to have an extra $11 million lying around. Palm Motel, a 26-unit cottage bungalow style motel on 14th Street just south of Pico Boulevard, is for sale. The vintage exteriors, blooming flowers and plentiful namesake palm trees make the entire property extremely Instagram ready.

You could live on-site in the two-bedroom, one-bath manager's quarters connected to the reception entrance, and preside over your palace in the kind of ideal live/work situation that millennials everywhere dream of. You could turn it into a hipster boutique hotel and crank in the cash. You could even open an artists' commune, if you have rich parents. The opportunities are endless.

This article previously misstated the price of the motel. It is $11 million, not $14 million.
