Prince Shows Announced: '21 Nite Stand' In Los Angeles Starts This Week, Most Tickets $25

In the coming weeks, the city that bleeds purple and gold will find itself less interested in gold, and extra rich in purple. Following the success of winter residencies, the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as Prince is bringing his Welcome 2 America Live tour to Los Angeles with a '21 Nite Stand' of performances beginning this week.Three dates have been announced so far, and tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster or Live Nation on Tuesday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. (PT) for the following shows:

April 14 @ Los Angeles Forum
April 21 @ Los Angeles Forum
April 22 @ Los Angeles Forum

Notes the tour press release:

"In an effort to make the show affordable for all of his fans, Prince has declared that roughly 85% of all tickets will be available at $25, inclusive of all service fees. Prince has taken a different approach with his concerts, announcing shows a matter of days before they happen, but the fans have come out in full force and shown their support. The first 2 Madison Square Garden shows sold out in 30 minutes and over 45,000 tickets were sold in the first 3 days for the string of Oakland shows."
