The obvious place to make a statement about animal rights is at a road rally, right? Of course it is. And that's exactly why PETA is planning to head to the finish line of the Gumball 3000 and deploy their now-infamous sexy PETA girls to hand out information about veganism.

According to a statement from the animal rights group, the girls will hit the rally's final stop on Hollywood Blvd. today wearing sexy pit girl costumes and holding signs that read, "Rev Your Engines: Go Vegan.'" They'll be handing out free vegan recipes in order to make the point that "racing fans—and professional drivers—should be at least as concerned about what they put in their stomachs as what they put in their gas tanks."

The Gumball 3000 is an annual event that takes drivers on a trip across the country. This year, the race started in New York on May 25th and went through Indianapolis, Kansas City and Vegas before finishing up in Hollywood.

The PETA action is planned for tonight at 7:00 p.m.
