Pencil This In: Comic Art at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, Dance Downtown, & More to Do Tonight

Tonight’s the opening reception for Pop-Sequentialism: Comic Art of the Modern Ageat La Luz de Jesus Gallery from 8-11 pm. This exhibition of comic book production art spans the last 25 years and highlights some of the medium's most acclaimed collaborations, including Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen and Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's Powers and Astonishing X-Men by Joss Whedon & John Cassaday The show is on display through May 29.
DANCE
Dance Downtown is an evening of free music and dancing at the Music Center Plaza with dance pros giving lessons throughout the evening. Tonight, learn cumbia dance steps under the stars with live music and DJ sets from 6:30 pm-10 pm.
