Photos: Meet The Adorable Newborn Baby At The Gibbon Conservation Center
How adorable is this baby Gibbon? On Monday, mama ape Ricky gave birth to a new baby boy, Dennis G. Jacobson Jr.
Dennis is a healthy, strong baby and the whole family is interested in him. All the family takes their turn kissing and grooming this cute baby, and the Gibbon Conservation Center caught it all on camera. Can you blame them for sneaking in a few kisses?
But there's more to this little guy's birth than his good looks. The Gibbon Conservation Center participates in the Species Survival Plan for northern white-cheeked gibbons -- a critically endangered species with less than a thousand left in the wild.
