Originally, when Lindsay Lohan slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway last Friday, she claimed that the truck cut her off.

Lohan isn't changing her story exactly, but now she is saying that there was another culprit in the crash: the brakes of the Porsche she rented. Lohan is telling friends that the brakes completely gave out when she tried to stop, TMZ reported. And apparently, the brakes had just been replaced a few days earlier.

Even if it is just bad luck—even if all Lohan's many auto mishaps just boil down to bad luck—isn't it about time she spring for a driver?
