Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Has "Extensive Injuries" From Porsche Wreck

Congress has cut federal funding for public media — a $3.4 million loss for LAist. We count on readers like you to protect our nonprofit newsroom. Become a monthly member and sustain local journalism.

While her publicist said she was fine after crashing her Porsche into an 18-wheeler, Lindsay Lohan may be trying to put on a brave face because she's currently filming the Lifetime movie about Elizabeth Taylor. According to TMZ, "Sources close to Lindsay tell us, the actress refused to let producers cancel yesterday's shoot because of the car accident -- bee-lining straight to the movie set once she was released from the hospital."

Further, TMZ claims, "We're told Lindsay has several visible injuries on her body -- including bruises and scratches -- but she asked to cover them with makeup so she could keep shooting." Yesterday morning, Lohan and her passenger were injured when she slammed her car into the tractor-trailer on the Pacific Coast Highway. The car was totaled and she claimed that she was cut off. Police are still investigating the crash.

Lifetime issued a statement, "First and foremost, we're concerned about the well being of Lindsay and anyone else involved in the accident. Lindsay has been doing fantastic work on the set of Liz & Dick and we have no further details."
