Jodie Foster Got Hitched Over The Weekend

Jodie Foster decided to make it official with her girlfriend Alexandra Hedison over the weekend. Foster's rep confirmed for E! News that the two married. So far we don't know any of the details that are de rigueur for celebrity weddings—where it happened, what the brides wore or who was on the guest list. But that's not a big shocker since Foster is a pretty private person who didn't even really come out in her coming out speech at the Golden Globe's last year. Foster has been dating Hedison since last summer.

Hedison is a photographer, but she also has acting credits, include a role on The L-Word. Hedison dated Ellen DeGeneres before Portia De Rossi came along in 2004. Foster was in a relationship with Cydney Bernard for two decades until 2008, and they have two sons together Charles and Kit. Bernard earned a thank-you in Foster's Golden Globes speech not long after Foster proclaimed her singleness at the Golden Globes.
