Jenna Jameson has recently been in the news for plowing into a pole in L.A. while possibly inebriated, and prior to that she was known the world over for her prolific work in the adult industry. Now, Jameson is making headlines for something unexpected: She's come out in support of Mitt Romney.

The 38-year-old porn star revealed her endorsement while sipping champagne at San Fransisco's Gold Club, a strip club in South Market. Jameson was there to celebrate the club's 8th anniversary, and waxed political to a CBS reporter:

"I'm very looking forward to a Republican being back in office...When you're rich, you want a Republican in office."

It's certainly true that Romney has a special place in his heart for the rich.

As of now, though, the candidate -- an avowed Mormon who is staunchly behind all things family value -- hasn't commented on his newfound support in the adult industry. We'll keep you posted if he does.
