It Must Be Summer: Getty Announces Late Evening Hours

You know it's summer when you can spend all evening strolling through the grounds of The Getty, and folks, that time is upon us. In a statement released today, the museum announced that it will be keeping its doors open until 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, beginning June 1 and going until September 21.
During that time, the museum's restaurant will be open for dinner, and the snack cart will also make the rounds (some among us think this might all be worth it just for the snack cart).
They're also offering more by way of family-friendly programming. They'll have concerts just for kids, and their Saturdays off the 405 program provides music in the background of your museum wanderings by way of DJs and bands.
Parking is also reduced from $15 to $10 after 5:00 p.m., and now that the gardens are re-opened, there's no excuse not to head up the freeway and stop in.
