Hello Kitty, Hello Art One Day Pop-Up at Known Gallery

Hello Kitty fans rejoice: Known Gallery will host a one day pop-up tomorrow (Sunday) to celebrate the book release of Hello Kitty, Hello Art. The collectible book features more than 200 works of art inspired by Sanrio’s beloved Hello Kitty—not to mention her pals Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, My Melody and Badtz-Maru.
The gallery will have over 30 new paintings on display from graffiti artist POSE, custom chandeliers by Adam Wallacavage, a neon installation by RISK and new works by Shepard Fairey, among others.
Select artists featured in Hello Kitty, Hello Art will be signing copies of the hardcover book ($35) while DJs The Pastries spin. Limited-edition prints of specific pieces and exclusive t-shirts by The Seventh Letter—the largest graffiti and street art collective in the world—will be for sale at this free event.
