Harrison Ford Will Preview Star Wars Land In Not-At-All Shameless TV Special

Do you miss Han Solo already? If so, don't fret: you'll get to see him again, kind of. Harrison Ford will appear in an upcoming Disney special during which he'll be tasked with revealing some details for the upcoming Star Wars-themed additions at Disneyland.Variety reports that Ford will be previewing the plans on The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60, a 2-hour long special airing on ABC Sunday, February 21 during sweeps week.
The new "Star Wars Land" expansions were announced by Disney chairman Bob Iger in August, and parts of Frontierland have already closed to make room. It better be worth it; many of our readers seemed to be quite upset over the loss of the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.
Elton John will also make an appearance on the special, performing the Oscar-nominated "Circle of Life" from The Lion King and will also debut a new song called "Wonderful Crazy Night." The performance was filmed at Disneyland earlier this month; early reports indicate we can expect sweeping over-the-top shots of John's red piano situated in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle. With fireworks. Duh.
Wonder if Ford will stop by the Indiana Jones ride? Bet he won't even need a Fastpass.
