FYF Fest is less than a month away and you can officially start planning your festival weekend, because the set times are here. This will be FYF's 14th year in action and the festival has has come a long way from its early days at the Echo, when it still had an actual expletive in its name.

This year's festival will take place July 21 to 23 at Exposition Park and be headlined by Missy Elliott, Björk, Frank Ocean, Nine Inch Nails, A Tribe Called Quest, Iggy Pop, and Solange. The full day-by-day schedule breakdown is below. For those who really like to plan, the 2017 FYF Fest app is also now available (download it here for iOS and here for Android).

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
