Free Admission at Several Museums This Weekend
Thanks to the good people of Smithsonian magazine, if you're staying in town this weekend, you can head to a bunch of local museums for free on Saturday, September 29 to take part in "Museum Day Live!"
"Los Angeles is a center of art and education and we are excited for the citizens of Los Angeles to take advantage of this celebration of art and culture," said Jennifer Hicks, Group Publisher, Smithsonian Media.
It's easy to get in on the deal. Just go to the Smithsonian Museum Day Live! site, pick a museum, and submit a request for free admission. The passes are sent to your inbox, and then you can head out on the cheap for high-quality fun and learning.
