Bob Odenkirk Plays 'The Bill Shakespeare Of Romance Cards' In Netflix's New 'Girlfriend's Day'

Netflix is gifting everyone with the best Valentine's Day surprise: a Bob Odenkirk movie. Girlfriend's Day will hit the streaming platform on February 14th, and features Odenkirk as Ray, the former “Bill Shakespeare of romance cards." Things get pretty weird after Ray gets back in the card game trying to write some new material for the newly announced "holiday" called Girlfriend's Day. It's not really a rom-com, there's a dose of darkness making it an even more complex hybrid: a rom-comystery, as Ray witnesses a murder and gets pulled into a dark world during his attempt at a comeback. Here's the trailer:
The movie also stars Amber Tamblyn, Natasha Lyonne, Ed Begley Jr., Stacy Keach, Rich Sommer, Toby Huss, June Diane Raphael, Stephanie Courtney, Stephen Michael Quezada, Derek Waters, Echo Kellum, and Andy Richter.
