Science nerds, rejoice! Bill Nye the Science Guy is hosting the ultimate space celebration event in Pasadena, with guests like Neil deGrasse Tyson and even actors from Star Trek.

For the 35th anniversary of the Planetary Society, which was co-founded by the late and great Carl Sagan in 1980, the nonprofit group will be helming, "More to Explore: A Space Celebration with Bill Nye." On October 24 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Pasadena Civic, folks attending will be treated to talks from star-studded guests from real-life science leaders and science-fiction ones.

The lineup includes Tyson, whom you may known as the astrophysicist who hosted docu-series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey; Andrew Weir, the author of the book The Martian, which was recently adapted into a feature film starring Matt Damon; Star Trek actors, including Nichelle Nichols, Robert Picardo, and Jeri Ryan; NASA scientists Dava Newman and Amy Mainzer; and personalities from the Planetary Society like Emily Lakdawalla.

Tickets range from $27 to $97, and can be purchased here.

If that's not enough for you to nerd out on and you have some extra cash lying around, there's also the chance to get $200 tickets for the "Planetary Society Pre-Show VIP Dinner," where you'll get to partake in a gala at the Pasadena Civic from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the "More to Explore" event. Nye, Nichols, Weir and others will be in attendance. Tickets for that can be purchased here.

And just to get you psyched, here's a video of Nye and Tyson chatting on a roof about things like the Planetary Society and Sagan:

Now Bill (CEO) and Neil (Board Member) reminisce about those days, talk about what we should call people from planet Earth, discuss how Neil's Cosmos TV show stressed Bill out, and tell us who will be the first humans to orbit Mars.Starring Bill Nye & Neil Tyson | Video by Merc Boyan | Music by Jim McKeever
