• The Egyptian Theatre has a special night with animator Chris Landreth tonight at 7:30 PM. Presented in association with the ASIFA-International Animated Film Association, tonight will feature the films of Landreth and pioneering animator Ryan Larkin, in the animated shorts "The End," "Bingo," "Ryan," "Walking," and "Street Musique." An extended Q&A with Landreth will follow the screenings.

• Modest Mouse wind up their three-day residency at The Wiltern with Love as Laughter and Cass McCombs tonight at 7 PM. Tickets are $23.50.
