Drunk Driver Causes Two Accidents in Hollywood
A drunk driver caused not one, but two accidents in Hollywood yesterday morning, leaving one person dead and two others injured, including the driver himself.
The 21-year-old man who was behind the wheel of a Toyota Matrix first hit a taxi at Hollywood and Argyle, and fled the scene. A few minutes later, he hit a 1995 Jeep Wrangler headed north on Vine near Yucca. The second accident was a "violent collision," according to a statement released by LAPD today, and both drivers were seriously injured.
A passenger in the Jeep, 26-year-old Angelo Bowers, was seriously injured as well, and died just a few hours later.
