A 4-year-old girl was playing in her yard in Redlands last night when she suddenly went missing. When her father began walking around looking for her, he allegedly discovered a father's worst nightmare: she was naked, screaming and banging on the window of an apartment where authorities believe she had been kidnapped and molested, reports ABC7.

Her father reportedly entered the apartment and, in addition to his daughter, discovered 52-year-old Terence Giberson inside, who was naked as well. The father took the girl out and brought her home, then called police. L.A. Now reports that authorities and neighbors surrounded the apartment where Giberson locked himself inside for over 30 minutes before finally emerging and being arrested.

Giberson was treated for cuts on his arms, which may have been a suicide attempt, notes L.A. Now. He's now being held on $500,000 bail on charges of kidnapping and child molestation.
